Creve Coeur's eastern edge is a working plant-science district rather than a conventional office corridor. The roughly 600-acre 39 North AgTech Innovation District is anchored by Bayer Crop Science and the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center. A June 2026 city update counted more than 40 agtech and plant-science companies and institutions there, employing over 1,000 plant-science professionals. The district is also changing physically. On a former Bayer campus west of Lindbergh Boulevard, the 96-acre Olia Village development is under construction with housing, offices, hotel rooms, shops, and restaurants; its first phase is scheduled to open in early 2027. For 2020–2024, 70.1 percent of residents age 25 or older held at least a bachelor's degree. Public recreation is spread among compact parks and the Dielmann complex. The city-run facility combines a nine-hole golf course, ice arena, gymnasium, and meeting rooms.

Millennium Park covers 25 acres and includes a fenced seasonal splash pad, large playground, paved walking loop, ball fields, picnic pavilions, and the historic Tappmeyer Homestead; the city's 2026 schedule used the park for free summer concerts. Conway Park adds a one-mile paved path, tennis and pickleball courts, playground, and members-only dog park. MetroBus Route 91 follows Olive Boulevard through Creve Coeur between Chesterfield and the Delmar Loop Transit Center, while Route 98 serves Olive and Ballas on its way to North Hanley Transit Center. The nearby 20,000-square-foot Thornhill Branch of St. Louis County Library specifically serves Creve Coeur, Maryland Heights, and Olivette, with study and meeting rooms, public computers, a training lab, and an East Asian-language collection. For a less programmed setting, Malcolm Terrace Park preserves 25 wooded acres and a mile and a half of nature trails.
