Cuba, AL

Cuba is a small, quiet town in southwest Sumter County, Alabama, sitting right along the Mississippi state line in the Black Belt region. With around 300 residents, the community got its start in the 1850s as a farming settlement before growing up around the local rail line as Cuba Station. That early railroad heritage still shapes the layout of the town, which has held onto its peaceful, rural character through the decades.

Today, Cuba offers an unhurried, close-knit lifestyle with convenient highway access to regional hubs.
