About Cudjoe Key

Cudjoe Key is an unincorporated community and census-designated place on an island of the same name in the lower Florida Keys, Monroe County. Historically known as Littleton Island in the eighteenth century, the community of approximately 2,492 was the site of the Cudjoe Key Air Force Station, established in 1959 to track military test range missiles. Public education is served by the Monroe County School District.
