Curtice, OH

Curtice is a census-designated place spread across northern Allen Township in Ottawa County and southwestern Jerusalem Township in Lucas County. The 2020 census counted 1,552 residents. Its northern setting is pure Lake Erie country: Jerusalem Township reaches the lake and Maumee Bay, with marshes, waterfowl habitat, marinas, and open agricultural ground shaping the wider landscape. Curtice also carries its own ZIP code and post office, small markers of a community that has a name and a place on the map without being an incorporated village. The lake is never far from the local picture.
