When you want to spend an evening out, Dallas gives you two distinct cultural hubs sitting practically side by side. Deep Ellum remains the city's go-to spot for live bands, colorful street murals, independent record shops, and great Texas barbecue. Just a short walk away, the Dallas Arts District offers a more polished scene, spanning several walkable blocks of world-class venues like the Dallas Museum of Art, the Meyerson Symphony Center, and the Winspear Opera House. Between weekend festivals, patio dining, and touring Broadway shows, there is always something going on close to the center of town.
