About Dallastown

Dallastown is a borough in York County, Pennsylvania, situated within the York-Hanover metropolitan area. Originally settled in 1736 and renamed in honor of Vice President George M. Dallas during the 1844 presidential campaign, the residential community of approximately 4,185 is served by the Dallastown Area School District locally for residents.
