Dalton, NE

Set among rolling wheat and corn fields in the Nebraska Panhandle, Dalton is a quiet village of around 300 residents along Highway 385. Founded around the turn of the twentieth century as a railroad stop, the community stays true to its roots with freight trains still rolling across the open landscape. It gives newcomers wide-open skies, affordable breathing room, and an easygoing pace of life.
