Darrington is a town in Snohomish County, Washington, situated in a North Cascades valley formed by the Sauk and Stillaguamish rivers. Established in 1891 near the traditional lands of the Sauk-Suiattle tribe and connected to the region by State Route 530, the mountain community of approximately 1,412 is served by the Darrington School District locally.
