Davey, NE

Just seven miles north of Lincoln, Davey is a quiet Lancaster County village with deep agricultural roots. Founded in the late 1800s as a railroad stop and named after local homesteader Michael Davey, the town grew around early Irish, Danish, and Swedish farming families. While it began with the classic mix of a blacksmith shop, grain elevator, and general store, it has since settled into a calm, tight-knit residential community surrounded by rolling fields.
