Dayton, MN

Dayton is a Hennepin and Wright County city northwest of the Twin Cities, named for Lyman Dayton, who helped bring the railroad into Minnesota. The city has expanded geographically over time, with its most recent boundary growth coming in 2003. North Diamond Lake is one of the local natural references, while the economy remains smaller in scale than many metro suburbs.
