Deercroft, NC

Deercroft is a Scotland County census-designated place along U.S. Routes 15 and 501, near Wagram and about 18 miles south of Pinehurst. The place is organized around the Deercroft residential community and its 18-hole, semiprivate golf club, which runs through the neighborhood. Homeowners also have access to a 100-acre recreation lake, clubhouse, tennis courts, pool, playground, and sandy beach. The surrounding Sandhills Game Land and the wider Pinehurst golf region give this small CDP its place on the map as a residential-and-recreation community, with Wagram providing the nearby town address.
