Delmar is a town in Wicomico County, Maryland, forming half of the unique bi-state town of Delmar along the Delaware border. Founded in 1859 with the extension of the Delaware Railroad along the Transpeninsular Line, the community of approximately 4,261 is served by Wicomico County Public Schools, including the historic Delmar Elementary School.
