About Devils Lake

Devils Lake is a city and the county seat of Ramsey County, North Dakota, situated near the shores of the lake from which it takes its name. Founded in 1882 by surveyor Heber Creel and home to Lake Region State College, the community of approximately 7,308 is served by the Devils Lake Public Schools district for public primary and secondary education.
