Diamond Beach, NJ

Diamond Beach is an unincorporated Lower Township community on Cape May County’s ocean side, a narrow shore place whose newer buildings sit on a much older coastal story. The Diamond Beach tract came through a 1907 tidelands grant to the Cape May Real Estate Company; today the section is lined with oceanfront homes, condominiums, and the Seapointe Village complex. It also shares the beach with the Two Mile Beach part of the Cape May National Wildlife Refuge. Diamond Beach is a Jersey Shore place where the map changes quickly from resort buildings to dunes, ocean, and protected shore.
