Distant, PA

Distant is a small, peaceful community tucked into the rolling hills of Armstrong County in western Pennsylvania. Situated at the junction of State Routes 28 and 66, the village sits just a couple of minutes south of New Bethlehem. The community was originally known as Oakland throughout the nineteenth century, taking on its memorable modern name when the local post office was established in the early 1900s.
