Dugway, UT

Located in Utah’s west desert inside the U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground, Dugway is a small residential community of a few hundred people. Because the town sits on an active military installation roughly 50 miles southwest of Tooele and 90 miles from Salt Lake City, access is restricted and day-to-day life is very self-contained. Most activity centers around the English Village neighborhood, which offers essential conveniences like a commissary, gym, library, and chapel. Local kids attend Dugway School, a single campus that teaches kindergarten through twelfth grade. Surrounded by wide-open desert landscapes, Dugway provides a quiet, secure environment for residents who value a close-knit neighborhood and are comfortable driving into larger towns for major shopping and entertainment.
