Dunlap is a city and the county seat of Sequatchie County, Tennessee, situated along the Sequatchie River in the Chattanooga metropolitan area. Founded in 1858 and famous for its historic Coke Ovens Park preserving Fredonia Mountain's coal mining heritage, the community of approximately 5,678 is served by the Sequatchie County School District for public education.
