Earlimart, CA

Earlimart is a quiet, close-knit community in California's southern San Joaquin Valley, home to roughly 7,700 residents. Surrounded by sprawling vineyards and almond orchards, it offers an authentic Central Valley farm-town feel. Location is one of its biggest practical perks, as State Route 99 runs straight through town, giving drivers a quick route north toward Tulare or south to Delano. Families have elementary and middle schools right in town, with high school students making the short trip into Delano for classes.

Originally known as Alila during its early railroad days, the community eventually took the name Earlimart as a nod to how quickly local produce ripened and reached the market. Today, daily life centers around neighborhood parks, family-owned markets, and the agricultural seasons that shape the region.
