About East Pleasant View
East Pleasant View is a small unincorporated Jefferson County census-designated place in the Denver-Aurora-Centennial metro area. The 2020 census counted 333 residents. The place sits in the larger Pleasant View area between Golden and Lakewood, with the Golden post office and Jefferson County schools serving the address. Pleasant View is handled through a metropolitan district rather than a city government, so fire protection and parks come through that district. The Pleasant View Metropolitan District was formed in 1948 when local residents organized around fire protection and recreation. Today its named parks include Orchard Street Park, Westblade Park, Wolf Park, and Camp George West, and the district runs the Pleasant View Fire District. East Pleasant View's local map is therefore a small county pocket inside a wider west-metro service area, with Golden and Lakewood on either side and parks and fire response handled through the district.
