Easton, MD

Easton is the county seat of Talbot County on Maryland's Eastern Shore. The town's official beginnings date to a 1710 act of the colonial assembly, and its historic core still gives it a strong courthouse-town feel. Easton sits near the headwaters of the Tred Avon River and has long served as a commercial and civic center for surrounding farms, waterfront communities, and Chesapeake Bay towns.
