Eden, ID

Eden sits in Jerome County on the west side of the Magic Valley, roughly between Twin Falls and Burley and close to Hazelton. The city grew in the irrigated southern Idaho landscape, where canals turned sagebrush into farm ground and the Snake River Plain became a patchwork of fields. Eden's city hall, built in 1941 from local basalt, is a small but telling piece of that regional story: the stone points back to the volcanic ground beneath the farms and the modest civic scale of the town.

Valley School District serves Eden's children, while local businesses such as The Snug Bar & Grill and Wink's Highway 25 Bar & Grill give the center everyday stops. Nearby hay and agricultural operations keep the surrounding country working, and broadband improvements funded through Idaho's 2020 CARES initiative reached roughly 420 households in the service area. Eden is a compact city with a practical place in the Magic Valley: irrigation, basalt, school, highway, and the larger Twin Falls-Burley corridor all meet around its few blocks.
