Edgerton, MN

Edgerton follows the Rock River through Pipestone County in southwestern Minnesota, with farm fields and prairie roads opening around the city. It was platted in 1879 and named for Alonzo J. Edgerton, a Minnesota politician. The 2020 census counted 1,258 residents. The river gives the city a clear geographic thread, while roads toward Pipestone, Luverne, and the wider southwest Minnesota farm country keep the week moving.
