Edmundson, MO

Tucked right next to St. Louis Lambert International Airport, Edmundson is a quiet, tight-knit community of about 850 residents. The city got its start in late 1941 when the original Edmundson Terrace subdivision opened with 156 homes. By 1948, the neighborhood officially incorporated, settling into the compact, independent municipality seen today. It gives residents a small-town footprint with an exceptionally easy commute across northwest St. Louis County.

Over the decades, the area expanded to include apartments, local businesses, and neighborhood gathering spots like Edmundson Park. Local students attend the Ritenour School District, with Kratz Elementary situated right in the community. Thanks to immediate access to Interstate 70, St. Charles Rock Road, and the airport terminals, Edmundson offers a convenient, low-fuss home base for getting around the greater St. Louis area.
