About Elberta

Elberta is a small waterfront village sitting along the south shore of Betsie Bay in northwest Michigan, right across the water from Frankfort. Home to around 300 residents, the community was once a busy railroad ferry port and takes its name from the Elberta peach. Today, it is an easygoing lakeside village known for its quiet streets, sandy dunes, and wide-open views of Lake Michigan.
