About Elfers

Elfers is a census-designated place in Pasco County, Florida, situated along the Anclote River corridor. Originally known as the Baillie settlement, the community of approximately 15,000 was renamed in 1909 when a post office was established in the home of the first postmaster, whose wife selected the name to honor a beloved uncle. Today, the suburban neighborhood offers a nearby residential setting within the Tampa metropolitan area.
