Elk City, OK

Elk City sits along Interstate 40 and historic Route 66 in western Oklahoma, about two hours west of Oklahoma City and two and a half hours east of Amarillo. Home to around 11,500 people, it serves as the main retail and service hub for the surrounding rural communities. The town offers a relaxed, small-town pace with plenty of open space, while the interstate gives residents an easy route to larger city conveniences.
