Englishtown, NJ

Englishtown is a tiny, historic borough tucked right in the middle of Manalapan Township in western Monmouth County. Home to around 2,300 residents, it offers a distinct small-town feel with quiet, walkable residential streets and deep colonial roots dating back to the early 1700s. Because the borough is completely encircled by Manalapan, locals get the tight-knit charm of a vintage village alongside the expanded amenities and well-regarded public services of a larger suburban neighbor.
