Eureka, MO

Eureka is a St. Louis-area city along the Meramec River, with local history reaching back to Shawnee inhabitants and later settlement along the river valley. Its modern identity is strongly tied to outdoor recreation and family tourism, especially Six Flags St. Louis just outside the main community. Eureka also has access to nearby parks, hills, and river scenery, giving it more landscape than many suburbs. It feels like a western edge city where the St. Louis metro starts to open into the Ozark foothills.
