Everetts, NC

Everetts is a small, quiet community in Martin County, sitting right along U.S. 64 Alternate between Williamston and Robersonville. Founded around a railroad stop in the 1880s, the town grew as a farming hub and still holds onto its rural roots. You can see its history reflected in the preserved buildings downtown, including the old J.T. Barnhill general store and a local post office that has been open since 1884. It is a peaceful, compact spot where neighbors know each other and the pace of life stays relaxed.
