About Fair Haven
Fair Haven is a small Monmouth County borough on the Rumson peninsula along the Navesink River. Its first permanent settlement dates to an 1816 structure near today's Fair Haven Road, and the river still gives the town much of its setting and appeal. Fair Haven is residential, polished, and connected, with easy access to Red Bank, Rumson, and the Shore. The annual Fireman's Fair is a signature local tradition, the kind of summer event that makes the borough feel smaller than its commuter location suggests.
