About Fairview

Fairview is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, formed on December 19, 1894 from portions of Ridgefield Township during a period when twenty-six boroughs were established in Bergen County in a single year. Named for its view of the Hackensack River valley, the community of approximately 3,900 is served by the Fairview Public Schools for grades pre-kindergarten through eight, with high school students attending Cliffside Park High School.
