Faith, SD

Faith is a small, tight-knit ranching town in western South Dakota at the intersection of Highways 212 and 73. With around 370 residents, it serves as the everyday gathering spot for nearby farming families who come in for supplies, groceries, and local news. When you want to get outside, Durkee Lake is just three miles south of town, featuring spots for camping, boating, fishing, and a relaxed nine-hole golf course.

The town holds a unique spot in history as the home base for the 1990 discovery of Sue, one of the most complete T. rex fossils ever found, which locals celebrate with a scrap-metal dinosaur statue along the main strip. Life here revolves around western heritage, highlighted every August by the long-running Faith Stock Show and Rodeo.
