Falcon, NC

Falcon is a town in Cumberland and Sampson counties in the U.S. state of North Carolina. The 2020 census counted 324 residents. Falcon Tabernacle was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Falcon is located in northeastern Cumberland County. That mix gives Falcon a clear local shape within North Carolina, with older layers still visible in current places. The local scoop is a place whose streets, landmarks, and institutions keep its earlier story close to the present. A small portion of the town extends east into Sampson County. The town is situated on the west side of the South River.
