Falls View, WV

Falls View is a tiny riverside community in Fayette County, West Virginia, sitting on the north bank of the Kanawha River just southwest of Gauley Bridge. Home to fewer than two hundred residents, the neighborhood was originally built in the early 1900s for plant managers working along the river near Kanawha Falls. Today, it remains a quiet residential pocket along U.S. 60, where everyday life is framed by the river and the steep Appalachian hills rising behind the houses.
