About Falmouth
Falmouth is a historic coastal town on the southwestern tip of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Settled in 1660 and incorporated in 1686, the town is famous for its village of Woods Hole, which serves as a major scientific hub hosting the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and the Marine Biological Laboratory. The village is also the terminal for ferries to Martha's Vineyard.
