Farmersville, IL

Farmersville’s Irish Days festival arrives on the last weekend of May and runs from Thursday through Saturday, carrying a local tradition that began in 1907. The village also has an old Opera House, a reminder of the era when rail service and small-town halls organized the calendar. Panhandle CUSD 2 brings Farmersville together with nearby communities, with its junior and senior high schools in Raymond. Farmersville is a compact Montgomery County village where the trail, the festival, and the school district keep older connections in use.
