Farmersville, IL

Farmersville is a quiet small town in northern Montgomery County, sitting right along Interstate 55 roughly thirty miles south of Springfield. With around 700 residents, it offers a peaceful rural setting while keeping daily commutes into the capital city simple. On the west side of town, the old Illinois Central rail corridor has been turned into the Green Diamond Trail, giving neighbors a scenic paved path for walking, running, and biking past open farmland.

The community takes pride in its long-standing traditions, most notably the annual Irish Days festival held every Memorial Day weekend since 1907. Local kids attend the Panhandle School District, joining students from nearby communities like Raymond for junior high and high school.
