Farmington, AR

Farmington is a Washington County city just west of Fayetteville, tucked in a valley among the Boston Mountains of the Ozarks. The first settlers arrived from the Deep South in 1828, and the community was known as Engel's Mill before being renamed after its post office opened in 1868. Today Farmington works as a growing Northwest Arkansas bedroom community, with its own school district, annual events, and quick access to Fayetteville.
