Farmington, NC

Farmington is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Davie County, North Carolina, at the intersection of NC 801 and Farmington Road. The crossroads sits in a rural county landscape of farms, wooded lanes, and small businesses, with Mocksville serving as the county-seat reference point. Farmington Road and NC 801 were paved in 1949, giving the community a stronger connection to the surrounding roads and towns.

Farmington's historic district preserves the look of a long-standing rural center, while the old school grounds continue to serve as a gathering place. Residents formed the Farmington Community Association in 1971 after the school and its buildings were no longer in use, keeping the property available for local meetings and events.
