Fayette, MO

Fayette is a quiet, historic town of under 3,000 residents, located about thirty miles northwest of Columbia. At the heart of the community sits a classic brick courthouse square surrounded by local businesses, law offices, and places to grab a bite to eat. Between the historic downtown and the nearby university grounds, the town has a walkable, easygoing feel where neighbors regularly run into each other while running errands or attending community festivals.

Much of Fayette's daily energy comes from Central Methodist University, which brings college athletics, performing arts, and a steady flow of students to town. Outside of campus, residents enjoy a relaxed pace of life with quiet residential streets, green space at Fayette City Park, and surrounding rolling farmland, all while keeping the shopping, dining, and healthcare options of Columbia within an easy commute.
