About Felicity

Tucked into southern Clermont County just a few miles north of the Ohio River, Felicity is a quiet village of around 650 residents. Founded in 1817 as Feestown, it was later renamed by the founder's daughter, who picked the name Felicity for its cheerful meaning. The community has deep historical roots, having served as a key trade route to Ohio River steamboats and an important hub on the Underground Railroad with multiple recognized Network to Freedom sites. Today, it offers a peaceful, rural lifestyle surrounded by open farmland, while still keeping you within a reasonable drive of Cincinnati.
