Fenton is a city in the southern part of Genesee County, Michigan, with small portions extending into neighboring Oakland and Livingston counties. Established in 1834 as Dibbleville and platted in 1837, the community of approximately 11,900 is one of only two municipalities in the state to span three counties. Zoned within the Fenton Area Public Schools district, the city offers residents numerous lakes, parks, and historic downtown shopping.
