Ferry Pass, FL

Ferry Pass is a census-designated community in Escambia County, just north of Pensacola city limits. It is part of the Pensacola metro area and is often treated as a community within the broader Pensacola urban footprint. Its most distinctive institution is the University of West Florida, located in the northern part of Ferry Pass and notable as the only university in the Pensacola metropolitan area. The community also reaches toward Escambia Bay on the east, giving parts of it a coastal Panhandle setting.
