Fife, WA

Fife is a Pierce County city just east of Tacoma, set in the lower Puyallup River basin. The area is part of the ancestral homeland of the Puyallup people, and the river's floodplain still shapes the southern part of the city. Modern Fife is highly practical: warehouses, car dealerships, industrial uses, hotels, and highway access sit alongside residential neighborhoods. Fife Public Schools serve most of the city and nearby areas. It feels like a working Tacoma suburb, built around movement, logistics, and regional access.
