About Five Corners

Five Corners is structured by county parks and regional roads rather than a separate municipal center. The Census-defined community lies north of Vancouver, with Interstate 205 along its southwest edge and State Route 503 along the east. Clark County maintains the local public spaces. Covington Neighborhood Park, developed in 2011 for the Maple Tree and Five Corners area, fits a basketball half court, three play structures, picnic tables, benches, and more than one-third of a mile of path into less than five acres. It was one of the parks built after voters in the unincorporated urban area created the Greater Clark Parks District and an ongoing maintenance levy in 2005. For a larger outing, nearby Orchards Community Park provides 33 acres of wooded picnic space, paths, lawns, play equipment, and a rose garden. C-TRAN Route 72 stops at Northeast 76th Street and 115th Avenue, linking the area with Orchards and Van Mall Transit Center every half hour through much of the weekday and hourly on weekends.
