Flagler, CO

Set just off Interstate 70 on Colorado’s eastern plains, Flagler is a quiet agricultural town of around 550 people surrounded by wide wheat fields and open skies. Originally founded along the Rock Island Railroad in the late 1880s, the community earned the nickname of Birdseed Capital thanks to a long-running seed packing industry. Today, Main Avenue anchors daily life, offering an easygoing pace where neighbors know each other and errands never involve fighting traffic.
