Fletcher is a town in northern Henderson County, North Carolina, situated in the valley of the French Broad River. Located immediately south of Asheville and adjacent to the Asheville Regional Airport, the community of approximately 8,100 was first settled in 1795 along the historic Howard Gap Road. Zoned within the Henderson County Public Schools system, the town offers a thriving suburban business corridor and local parks.
