Florida City, FL

Florida City is a small Miami-Dade County city at the southern edge of South Florida's urban corridor. It serves as a gateway to the main section of Everglades National Park and sits close to Homestead, Biscayne National Park, and the road toward the Florida Keys. Florida City is part of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools system, but its identity is shaped just as much by geography: farms, tropical heat, park traffic, hurricane exposure, and the last mainland stop before the landscape opens southward.
