Forest Glen, MD

Forest Glen is a Montgomery County community just north of Washington, D.C., near Silver Spring. It sits by Rock Creek, Rock Creek Regional Park, and the U.S. Army's Forest Glen Annex, giving it a mix of wooded land, transit access, and institutional presence. The old Forest Inn and Forest Glen Park area later became part of the National Park Seminary story, one of the more unusual architectural landmarks in the area. Forest Glen feels leafy and close-in, with city access tucked into a park-edged setting.
