Forest, VA

Forest is a Bedford County community west of Lynchburg, with suburban growth spreading through what was once more rural farm country. Its location gives residents access to Lynchburg jobs, Liberty University, and Blue Ridge Mountain scenery, including views toward the Peaks of Otter. Forest is mostly residential, with subdivisions, schools, churches, and local shopping along the main roads. It is not a traditional town center so much as a growing Lynchburg-area community with mountain-country edges still close by.
