Forestville, MD

Forestville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Prince George's County, east of Washington, D.C. It was once known as Long Old Fields, but modern Forestville is mostly a close-in suburban place shaped by schools, apartments, shopping, commuter roads, and nearby Joint Base Andrews. Prince George's County Public Schools serves the area, and daily life is tied to the broader Suitland, District Heights, and Upper Marlboro corridor. Forestville feels practical, dense in places, and very much part of suburban Maryland.
